May 21st, 2016 - Making the trek to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) on Friday night, Jon Mitchell was one of twenty-seven entries signed in for the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing (SUPR) sanctioned event. Capturing a heat race win early in the night, Mitchell secured his spot into the $2,000-to-win show. Hanging on to a podium finish in the action-packed A-Main, Jon notched a runner-up finish behind Ray Moore with Tyler Erb, Morgan Bagley, and Timothy Culp rounding out the top five.

Continuing with the SUPR series, Mitchell traveled to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night for another $2,000-to-win A-Main. May 14th, 2016 - Jon Mitchell headed to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Friday night for the event co-sanctioned by the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) and the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS). With thirty-six Super Late Models signed in, Mitchell failed to hit a transfer spot in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Capturing a consolation win, Jon earned a 22nd place starting spot for the feature. With $2,000 on the line, Jon Mitchell stormed through the field fourteen spots reeling in a solid 8th place finish.

The following night the CCSDS and MSCCS followers traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for a $2,500-to-win show. In another stacked field of forty-three cars, Mitchell logged a 5th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Cruising to a consolation victory, Jon earned a 17th place starting spot for the feature. Improving three spots in the 40-lapper, Jon Mitchell recorded a 14th place finish.

May 7th, 2016 - Following the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Jon Mitchell headed to Diamond Park Speedway (Nashville, Arkansas) on Friday night for the $2,000-to-win feature. Competing in a field of twenty-three cars, Mitchell earned an 11th place starting spot for the feature. Gaining three positions in the 35-lapper, Jon recorded an 8th place finish.

Saturday night brought Mitchell to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) for another $2,000-to-win CCSDS show. In a field of thirty-four cars, Jon was slated to start 8th for the main event via preliminary events. Falling two positions in the 40-lap affair, Jon Mitchell logged a 10th place outing. April 23rd, 2016 - With the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing Series (SUPR) event rained out at Battleground Race Park (Highlands, Texas) on Saturday night, Jon Mitchell made the last minute decision to head to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) sanctioned Cliburn Tank Lines 50. With thirty-three Super Late Models signed in, Mitchell landed a top five finish in the feature. Battling for a $2,500 payday in the A-Main, Jon notched a 4th place finish behind Kyle Beard, David Breazeale, and Bub McCool with Allen Tippen coming in 5th.

April 16th, 2016 - Continuing with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Jon Mitchell traveled to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) on Friday night for the Bad Boy 98 sanctioned by both the CCSDS and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Drawing forty-five cars for the two-day special, Mitchell logged a 9th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the top three into the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Jon logged a 11th place outing bringing an early end to his weekend.

April 2nd, 2016 - Paying a visit to Timberline Speedway (Maud, Texas), Jon Mitchell was one of thirty-one Super Late Models signed in on Friday night for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) season-opener. Failing to hit a transfer spot into the main event from his heat, Mitchell captured a consolation win securing his spot for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. January 10th, 2016 - Attending a total of twenty-nine events during the 2015 season, Jon Mitchell captured seven feature wins and also his second straight P&W Sales Southern Unted Professional Racing Series (SUPR) points title. With the weather affecting six of his scheduled dates, Mitchell reeled in twenty-two top ten finishes and sixteen top five outings.

September 26th, 2015 - Jon Mitchell headed to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned Mid-South Dirt Track Championship. Paying $3,000 to the feature winner, Mitchell earned a 4th row starting spot for the feature. Improving three positions, Jon scored a 5th place finish behind Clay Fisher, Jack Sullivan, Kyle Beard, and Ronny Adams.

1September 19th, 2015 - On Saturday night Jon Mitchell returned to action by making the trip to Leesville 171 Speedway (Leesville, Louisiana) for the weekly event. Competing in the unsanctioned program, Jon scored a runner-up finish in the A-Main behind Rob Litton with Tyler Erb coming in 3rd.

1September 5th, 2015 - Jon Mitchell headed to at Lone Star Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) on Saturday night for the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing (SUPR) Series sanctioned event. With 17 Super Late Models signed in for the SUPR Labor Day 40, Mitchell bagged a top ten finish in the feature paying $3,000 to winner. Recording a 6th place outing in the 40-lap A-Main, Jon Mitchell successfully clinched a second straight SUPR championship.

1August 21st, 2015 - On Saturday night Jon Mitchell made the trip to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) for the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing (SUPR) event. Drawing a field of 16 Super Late Models, Mitchell transferred into the feature with a 7th place starting spot. With $2,000 on the line, Jon improved two spots in the feature event scoring a 5th place finish behind Curt Lipsey, B.J. Robinson, Kody Barber, and Mark Tice.
