Mitchell scores Modified victory at Texarkana 67 Speedway
Jon Mitchell dominated the 12-car Modified division at Texarkana 67 Speedway in Texarkana, Arkansas, on Friday to score his first feature win of the year.
Mitchell began his evening at the quarter-mile track with a third-to-first run in his heat race aboard his No. 5 ride. He then started on the pole in the 15-lap feature and wired the field, taking the checkered flag 2.384 seconds ahead of Dustin Hyde.
Third place went to Tim Eaves Jr., with Jacob Twomey finishing fourth and Kenny Turner coming home fifth.
