Mitchell finishes 6th in Ronny Adams Memorial at Boothill
Jon Mitchell began his 2025 season on Friday with the opening round of this year's COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) slate at Greenwood, Louisiana’s Boothill Speedway. The 2012 CCSDS champion steered his Keyser Manufacturing No 5 Super Late Model to a sixth-place finish in the sixth annual Ronny Adams Memorial.
Mitchell was among 32 CCSDS competitors at the quarter-mile track seeking the evening’s $10,000 first-place payout. He finished as runner-up in his heat race and rolled off from fifth on the grid in the feature. He came home sixth in the 40-lapper.
The Saturday portion of the Ronny Adams Memorial was rained out.
