Jon Mitchell competes in doubleheader weekend with ACLMS

Jon Mitchell invaded Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Ark.) on Friday afternoon to compete in a doubleheader weekend with the American Crate Late Model Series. Following a fourth-place finish in his heat, Mitchell secured his spot into the opening night feature with a third-place finish in his B-Main. With $3,000 on the line, Jon faded six positions to finish 21st.

On Saturday night, Jon came in second in his heat race before passing two cars in the feature to finish seventh.

Sunday's event at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, La.) fell victim to Mother Nature.
