Top-10 finish in Will McGary Memorial at I-30

Picking back up with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Jon Mitchell traveled to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, La.) on Friday afternoon for the $3,000 prize. After missing a transfer spot by one position in his heat, Mitchell secured his spot into the opening night feature with a consolation victory. On Saturday evening at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) for the Will McGary Memorial, Jon’s fourth-to-third run in his heat race positioned him 12th on the starting grid for the finale. With $5,000 on the line, Mitchell jumped up two spots in the 50-lapper to finish 10th.
