Jon Mitchell Looking Forward to Hitting the Road with COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Again in 2022

2012 COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model Champion, Jon Mitchell will return to full-time status with the tour in 2022. After running a mixture of Super Late Model and Crate Late Model events in 2021 the Texas racer is looking forward to going after another series championship in his W&W Timber / HealthCARE Express No. 5 Team 5 Enterprise / XR1 Rocket Chassis / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model.

“Not only did we not get to run many Super Late Model races this year, we only raced about two dozen times total between the Super and the Crate. Just between rain and my business keeping me tied up, we didn’t get to race near as many times as I would’ve liked,” Mitchell said. “We’ve got all of our ducks in a row for 2022 though, and as it stands now, I’m looking forward to going after another COMP Cams (Super Dirt Series) title. Chris and Jack (Sullivan) have done a great job with that series, and with what they’ve put together we can run for some really nice purses in our region.”

In 2021 Mitchell entered 25 events, claiming five wins, 14 Top-5 finishes, and 15 Top-10 finishes.

“Everyone knows it’s not cheap to run a championship-caliber team, and I definitely couldn’t do it without the great support of all of our marketing partners. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart, and ask fans to please support these companies whenever they can and let them know where they heard about them,” noted Mitchell, who is also a two-time Southern United Professional Racing (SUPR) Super Late Model Champion.

For 2022 the team still has marketing opportunities available to match any budget, and interested parties are encouraged to contact Jon at 903-277-8873 or by e-mail at joeracer5@aol.com.

Jon Mitchell would like to thank all of his marketing partners, which include HealthCARE Express, W&W Timber, Keyser Manufacturing, Tommy Dowden Logging, Erb Longhorn Ranch, Epperson Racing, Keyser Manufacturing, BASE Racing Fuel, Razor Edge Graphics, Storm Services, MI Truck Center, TWA Truck Wash & Chrome Shop, Rocket Chassis, Integra Shocks, FK Rod Ends, Performance Bodies, Wilwood, Fragola Performance Systems, Swift Springs, Beyea Headers, Smiley’s Racing Producs, Hoosier Tire, QuickCar Racing Products, Winning Edge Carburetors, Day Motorsports, Schaeffer’s Oil, Bert Transmission, PRO Glow, LKD Motorsports, The Joie of Seating, J&J Motorsports, Dirt Defender, OH Hendricks, QA1, Simpson Race Products, Winter Rearends, ISC Racer Tape, MPi Steering Wheels, Hooker Harness, Brodix Cylinder Heads, COMP Cams, Earnhardt Technologies, Gorsuch Performance Solutions, Wehrs Machine, Bulletproof Tees, Murphy & Son Timber, Steering Buddy, Accu-force, and Walker Filters.
