Mitchell begins 2021 season at Boothill for Ronny Adams Memorial

After Mother Nature wiped out his original plans a week prior, Jon Mitchell traveled to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) on Friday night to kick off his 2021 season with the two-day Ronny Adams Memorial. Drawing 34 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries, Mitchell came short of a transfer position in his heat race and B-Main, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the opening night feature. With $3,000 on the line, Jon was the first retiree of the 30-lapper on lap 16.

On Saturday afternoon, Jon timed in ninth fastest in his qualifying group before grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race.
