Mitchell attends CCSDS doubleheader at Batesville Motor Speedway

On Friday afternoon, Jon Mitchell returned with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) for the Joe Garrison Memorial. With 29 Late Models entered, Jon posted a third-place finish in his heat race, which positioned him 11th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. For the Bad Boy 98 on Saturday, Mitchell came in seventh in his heat race, which positioned him 19th on the starting grid for the $12,000-to-win main event. Running into trouble early, Jon was the first retiree of the race on the seventh lap.
