Top 10 Finish in Comp Cams Opener at Boothill Speedway

On Friday night Jon Mitchell traveled to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) to kick off the 2020 season with the inaugural Ronny Adams Memorial. Drawing 39 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series entries for the two-day event, Mitchell laid down the fastest lap overall in time trials before coming in third in his heat. With $3,000 on the line in the feature, Jon gained two spots in the 30-lap affair to place eighth. (Scott Burson photo)

The following night for the $7,000 top prize, Jon scored a third-place finish in his heat, which positioned him tenth on the starting grid for the finale. Losing two spots in the 60-lapper, Mitchell posted a 12th place outing.
